Most recently serving as Vice President and Commercial Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Michael is intimately familiar with all aspects of the title insurance business and will be the primary point of contact for ECT operations. Over the past ten (10) years, Michael has participated in thousands of commercial real estate transactions. Those transactions have ranged from small-scale commercial real estate acquisitions to multi-billion dollar public mergers. Prior to his tenure as title counsel, Michael served as general counsel to a commercial real estate developer and as private counsel to many other commercial real estate clients. Through his combined experience, Michael has a unique understanding of the customer’s needs in types of commercial real estate transactions.
Steve Johnson is a principal and founding member of ECT. Mr. Johnson has overseen numerous residential and commercial development and redevelopment projects, and has developed strategic relationships with lenders, brokers, contractors, and key governmental agencies. Mr. Johnson’s previous experience includes private equity and corporate strategic consulting. Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
